Hit The Broom Podcast - Episode 9
Episode 9 of the Hit The Broom podcast is now available.
This week's episode is all about building a fan community. The podcast includes two interviews: one with Buck Krawczyk from the Lone Star Curling Club in Austin, TX, the other with Price Atkinson, a curling fan and member of the Palmetto Curling Club in South Carolina.
Over the summer, I will be working on a project related to building a fan community and culture around curling in the United States - stay tuned for more details about that.
NOTE: This is the last episode of the season. Now that the World Championships are wrapping up, we are taking a hiatus. We will resume the show when the temperatures drop and the curling season heats up again.
And… though the Hit The Broom podcast will be on hiatus… I will still be podcasting regularly. My new show is all about my experience as a Mariners fan living in New York City -- what most people call a ‘displaced fan.” The first episode will air in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, check out my displaced fan blog.
